PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

The official website of Yusuke Mazda (the “Site”) follows this policy to handle personal information appropriately.

1. Site owner

Yusuke Mazda, MD, PhD

2. Information collected and its purposes

Your name, affiliation, contact details, inquiry and other information you provide are used to answer your inquiry, communicate with you, and respond to requests for lectures, writing, collaborative research and related activities. We will obtain your consent in advance before using this information for another purpose, except where permitted by law.

3. Information when you visit the Site

The Site has a form for messages and meeting requests. Information entered in the form is not saved to browser storage. The Site does not use analytics tools or advertising tags.

Depending on the hosting environment, access logs may record your IP address, the date and time of access, and the pages you visit. This information is used to maintain stable operation and respond to unauthorized access.

4. Managing personal information and sharing it with third parties

We handle personal information only as needed for its intended purposes and work to manage it appropriately, including limiting the scope of handling and access permissions to prevent leaks and unauthorized access. Information that no longer needs to be retained is deleted appropriately, taking legal retention obligations into account.

Personal information is not provided to third parties except with your consent, where required by law, or in similar permitted circumstances. When handling is entrusted to a service provider, it is limited to what is necessary, and the provider is supervised appropriately.

5. External services

X, note, Substack, Spotify, stand.fm, newsletters and other services linked from the Site are operated by their respective providers. Their own policies govern personal information and cookies on those services.

We use Cloudflare to deliver the form and prevent fraudulent submissions, Resend to send notifications and receipt emails, and Gmail to manage received inquiries. Your name, affiliation, email address, inquiry and meeting preferences are handled through these services as needed to respond to you. Cloudflare’s submission verification processes information such as your IP address and browser information.

AI agents assist with intake by summarizing and categorizing inquiries and preparing replies. The site owner decides whether to accept or decline a request, whether to meet, and when a meeting is confirmed.

Inquiries are managed through the intake email account. Receipt numbers and submission status are recorded temporarily to prevent duplicate submissions. Please do not send medical records or information that could identify a patient. If you contact us through X, your message is also handled on X.

6. Access, correction and suspension of use

To request access to, correction of, or suspension of use of your personal information, please use the contact form. We will verify that the request comes from you and respond in accordance with the law.

7. Changes to this policy

We review this policy as the Site’s functions and operation change. Updates are published on this page. Where the law requires separate notice or consent, we will respond appropriately.
